Abstract
İçinde bulunduğumuz yüzyıl, farkındalığı yüksek, üretken, yaratıcı ve mutlu bireyler yetiştirmeye gereksinim duymaktadır. Bunu sağlamak, ancak eğitim aracılığı ile mümkündür. Günümüz toplumlarında eğitimde, öğretmeye fazla odaklanıp, insanı ikinci plana atan bir anlayışın hüküm sürdüğü görülmektedir. Oysa eğitim sürecinde bilişsel, sosyal ve psikolojik değişkenlerin insanı nasıl etkilediğini ve bu değişkenlerin başarıya nasıl yansıdığını bilmek son derece önem taşımaktadır. Toplumlara, yaratıcı düşünebilen, motivasyon sahibi ve üretken bireylerin kazandırılmasında, sanat eğitimi ayrı bir yer tutar. Sanat eğitiminin temel öğelerinden olan müzik eğitiminde piyano eğitimi, vazgeçilmez bir ana unsurdur. Piyano eğitiminde de öğrencilerin piyano çalma performanslarını olumlu-olumsuz etkileyecek pek çok değişken bulunmaktadır. Önemli olan, öğrencilerin başarısı üzerinde belirleyici olduğu düşünülen bu değişkenlerin bilincinde olmak ve eğitime olumlu yönde yansımasını sağlamaktır. Araştırmada; yaş ve kişilik yapısı, korku ve kaygı, motivasyon, anne-baba tutumları, öğretmen davranışları ile çalışma alışkanlıkları adı altında belirlenen değişkenler üzerinde durulmuş, bu değişkenlerin piyano eğitim sürecinde öğrenme başarısına etkileri ele alınmıştır.

Abstract
The century we live in needs to raise highly aware, productive, creative and happy individuals. This can only be achieved through education. In today's societies, there is an understanding that focuses too much on teaching subjects and relegates the importance of raising people. However, it is extremely important to know how cognitive, social and psychological variables affect people in the education process and how these variables are reflected in success. Art education has a special place in bringing creative, motivated and productive individuals to societies. In music education, which is one of the basic elements of art education, piano education is an indispensable main element. In piano education, there are many variables that will affect the performance of students positively or negatively. The important duty of the teacher is to be aware of these variables, which are thought to be determinative on the success of students, and to ensure that they reflect positively on education. In the study, the variables determined under the name of age and personality structure, fear and anxiety, motivation, parental attitudes, teacher behaviors and students’ practising habits were emphasized, and the effects of these variables on learning success in the piano education process were discussed.
