Abstract
Çağımızın en önemli ozanlarından olan Âşık Mahzunî Şerif gerek yazdığı şiirlerinde gerekse okuduğu türkülerinde Türk insanının gönlünde derin hisler uyandırmıştır. Onun türküleri sadece aşk, sevda, ayrılık üzerine olmayıp siyasal içerikten dini içerik boyutuna ulaşan hiciv ve eleştirel bir dil aracılığıyla notalara dökülmüştür. Her türlü haksızlığın karşısında dik duruşu, değer yargılarından ödün vermeyişi, zalime boyun eğmeyişi Âşık Mahzunî Şerif’in eserlerine yansımıştır. Türkülerinde fakirlikten, gurbetlikten, birlik ve beraberlikten, kardeşlik duygusundan kısacası toplumsal olaylardan çok fazla mesajlar bulunmaktadır. Âşık Mahzunî Şerif türkülerinin içerik ve konuları üzerine yapılmış bu çalışmada ozanımızın yüzlerce şiiri ve seslendirdiği türküleri tek tek analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmamızın bulgular kısmında ele aldığımız başlıklarda türkülerdeki söz varlıkları, değindiği temalar, kimi siyasi şahsiyetler tespit edilerek yorumlanmıştır. Âşık Mahzunî Şerif türküleri Türk halkının genel sorunlarını dile getiren eserler bütünüdür. Türk toplumunun vicdanında derin yaralar bırakan pek çok mevzu türküleşip dilden dile aktarılmıştır. Cesur kalemi, sivri dili ve gözü kara yapısıyla Âşık Mahzunî Şerif, pek çok sanatçının düşünüp dile getiremediği eleştirileri şiirlerinde ve türkülerinde haykırmıştır.

Âşık Mahzunî Şerif, one of the most important poets of our age, aroused deep feelings in the hearts of Turkish people both in his poems and in the folk songs he sang. His folk songs were not only about love, separation, but were notated through a satirical and critical language that reached the level of religious content from political content. His upright stance in the face of all kinds of injustice, his uncompromising value judgments, and his insubordination to the oppressor are reflected in the works of “ Âşık Mahzunî Şerif”. There are many messages from poverty, expatriateness, unity and solidarity, the feeling of brotherhood, in short, social events in his folk songs. In this study on the content and subjects of Âşık Mahzunî Şerif folk songs, hundreds of poems of our poet and the folk songs he sang were analyzed one by one. In the titles that we discussed in the findings part of our study, the vocabulary in the folk songs, the themes they mentioned, some political figures were determined and interpreted. “Âşık Mahzunî Şerif” folk songs are a collection of works that express the general problems of the Turkish people.
