Abstract
Aynı topraklar üzerinde yaşayan pek çok etnik köken, gelenek-görenek, örf ve adetleri bakımından birbirlerinden ayrılmaktadırlar. Bize düşen görev, araştırmacı kimliğimiz ile birlikte, toplumlara kimliğini kazandırmış fakat kaybolmaya yüz tutmuş olan gelenekleri hatırlatıp, gün yüzüne çıkartabilmektir. Müzik tarihsel ve bilimsel olarak toplumların kültürel değerlerini yansıtmada en etkili araç olmuştur. Bu görüşten yola çıkarak tarihin en eski dönemlerinden bu yana Türklerle iç içe yaşayan Süryanilerin Kültürü ve Müziği kültür-müzik bağlamında araştırmamıza konu alınmıştır. Çalışmamız kültür-müzik etkileşimini, Süryani kültürü ve müziği örneği üzerinden sunmayı, aynı zamanda örnek olarak seçilen Süryani İlahilerini makamsal ve estetik açıdan incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Araştırmamız Süryani İlahilerinden dört eser ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Eserlerin estetik analizi yapı ve biçim üzerinden estetik unsurlar temel olarak yapılmıştır.

Abstract
Many ethnic origins living on the same lands differ from each other in terms of customs, traditions and customs. Our duty, together with our researcher identity, is to remind and bring to light the traditions that have given societies their identity but are about to disappear. Music has historically and scientifically been the most effective tool in reflecting the cultural values of societies. Based on this view, the Culture and Music of the Assyrians, who have lived together with the Turks since the earliest periods of history, has been the subject of our research in the context of culture-music. Our study aims to present the culture-music interaction through the example of Syriac culture and music, as well as to examine the Syriac Hymns selected as an example from a modal and aesthetic point of view.
Our research is limited to four works from Syriac Hymns. The aesthetic analysis of the works has been made on the basis of aesthetic elements through structure and form.
