Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Senegal’de 1991-2018 dönemi için dış ticaretin istihdam üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Teoride, dış ticaret istihdam artışında önemli bir faktör olarak görülmektedir. Çalışmada ihracat, ithalat ve istihdam değişkenleri kullanılmıştır. Ekonometrik analiz de ADF birim kök testi, Johansen Eş bütünleşme testi ve Vektör Hata Düzeltme Modeline dayalı Granger Nedensellik testi yapılmıştır. ADF birim kök testinden elde edilen sonuçlar serilerin birinci farklarında durağan olduklarını göstermektedir. Johansen Eş-bütünleşme testinin sonuçlarına göre, değişkenler arasında uzun dönemli ilişki olduğunu tespit edilmiştir. Değişkenler arasında uzun dönemli bir ilişki olduğu için vektör hata düzeltme modeli kullanılmıştır. Granger Nedensellik analiz de, kısa dönemde ithalat ve ihracatın istihdam üzerinde olumlu etkisi olduğu gözlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Senegal'de dış ticaretteki artışın istihdam üzerinde olumlu bir etkisi olduğu bulunmuştur.

Abstract
In this study, the effects of foreign trade on employment in Senegal for the period 1991-2018 were examined. In theory, foreign trade is seen as an important factor in employment growth. Export, import and employment variables were used in the study. In the econometric analysis, ADF unit root test, Johansen Cointegration test and Granger Causality test based on Vector Error Correction Model were performed. The results obtained from the ADF unit root test show that the series are stationary at their first difference. According to the results of the Johansen cointegration test, it dec found that there is a long-term relationship between the variables. Since there is a long-dec relationship between the variables, a vector error correction model was used. In the Granger Causality analysis, it was observed that imports and exports had a positive effect on employment in the short term. As a result, it was found that the increase in foreign trade in Senegal has a positive effect on employment.
