Abstract
Secde sûresi 17. âyetin sosyal medyada çeşitli bağlamlarda paylaşılması dikkatimizi çekmiştir. Herhangi bir beklentisi olan veya umut aşılamak isteyenlerin bu âyete başvurduğu, âyeti bazen tam olarak bazen de kısmen paylaştığı görülmüştür. Âyetin bağlamından koparılarak belirli bir amaç doğrultusunda paylaşıldığı fark edilmiştir. Mutluluk beklentisinde olanların beklentilerini âyet ile desteklemek üzere Secde sûresi 17. âyete başvurdukları gözlenmiştir. Âyeti doğru anlamak amacıyla, bağlamıyla birlikte ele almak gerekli görülmüştür. Bu çalışmada, tefsir kaynaklarından hareketle Secde sûresi 17. âyetin bağlamı ve içerdiği anlam ortaya konulmuştur. Âyetin sosyal medyada paylaşılma sebepleri olarak gördüğümüz umut veya mutluluk beklentisi ile âyetin muhatabına sunduğu mesajın uyumlu olup olmama durumu değerlendirilmiştir. Secde sûresi 17. âyette ifade edilen mutluluğun âhiret mutluluğu olduğu ve bu mutluluğa dünyadaki sâlih amellerin karşılığında ulaşıldığı anlaşılmıştır. Dolayısıyla âyet, iman edip sâlih amel işleyenler için ahiret konusunda bir umut âyeti olarak değerlendirilebilir. Ancak âyetin bağlamından dünyalık bir umut çıkması zor gözükmektedir.

Abstract
The sharing of the 17th verse of Surah Sajda on social media in various contexts has drawn our attention. It has been seen that those who have any expectations or want to instill hope refer to this verse and share the verse sometimes completely and sometimes partially. It has been noticed that the verse has been taken out of its context and shared for a specific purpose. It has been observed that those who expect happiness refer to the 17th verse of the Surah Sajda to support their expectations with a verse. In order to understand the verse correctly, it was deemed necessary to consider it together with its context. In this study, the context and meaning of the 17th verse of the Sajda Surah are revealed based on the sources of tafsir. It has been evaluated whether the hope or happiness expectation, which we see as the reasons for sharing the verse on social media, is compatible with the message that the verse presents to its addressee. It has been understood that the happiness expressed in the 17th verse of the Surah Sajda is the happiness of the afterlife and that this happiness is gained through good deeds done in this world. Therefore, the verse can be considered as a verse of hope for afterlife for those who believe and do good deeds . However, it seems difficult to derive hope for world from the context of the verse.
