Abstract
Teknoloji yönetimi, kurumların hızla gelişen teknolojiyi takip ederek daha etkin ve rekabetçi bir yaklaşımla ortaya çıkan bir yönetim faaliyetidir. Teknolojinin hayatın her alanında kullanıldığı günümüzde, kurumların başarısında teknoloji yönetiminin önemli etkileri görülmektedir. Toplumun huzur ve güvenliğinin sağlanması, temel hak ve özgürlüklerin korunması amacıyla çağdaş ve kaliteli bir kamu hizmeti sunmayı hedefleyen Emniyet Müdürlüğü yöneticileri için doğru teknoloji yönetimi artık kaçınılmaz bir süreçtir. Kolluk kuvvetlerinin son on yıla göre daha çeşitli ve kafa karıştırıcı işlere sahip olmasının yanı sıra daha ağır sorumluluklara sahip olduğunu söylemek mümkündür. Bu durumun temel nedenlerinin dünyadaki istikrarsızlık ve değişen kamu güvenliği ve güvenliği anlayışı olduğu açıktır. Terörle mücadeleden siber suçlara kadar değişen suç ve suç teknikleri ile mücadele, teknoloji sayesinde kolluk kuvvetlerinin çalışma şeklini değiştirmiştir. Bu bağlamda bu çalışma, kolluk kuvvetlerinin önümüzdeki yıllarda etkin ve verimli çalışabilmesi için öngörülen teknolojik ihtiyaçları ve nelere önem verilmesi gerektiğini belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu çalışma literatür taraması yapılarak teorik bir temelde gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Technology management is a management activity that emerges with a more effective and competitive approach by following the rapidly developing technology of institutions. Today, where technology is used in all areas of life, technology management has important effects on the success of institutions. Proper technology management is now an inevitable process for Police Department managers, who aim to provide a modern and high-quality public service in order to ensure the peace and security of the society and to protect fundamental rights and freedoms. It is possible to say that law enforcement officers have more diverse and confusing jobs compared to the last decade, as well as have heavier responsibilities. It is clear that the main reasons for this situation are the instability in the world and the changing understanding of public safety and security. Combating crime and crime techniques, ranging from the fight against terrorism to cybercrime, has changed the way law enforcement works, thanks to technology. In this context, this study aims to determine the technological needs of law enforcement officers in order to work effectively and efficiently in the coming years and what should be given importance. This study was carried out on a theoretical basis by scanning the literature.
