Abstract
Münazara tekniği ikna ve konuşma için önemli tekniklerden biridir. Münazara en etkili tartışma tekniklerinden biri olup öğrencilerde demokratik bilincin gelişmesi ve konuşma becerilerinin yetkinleşmesi, öğrencilerin düşündüğünü ifade edebilmesi veya iletişim, ikna becerilerinin gelişmesi açısından oldukça önemlidir. Bu çalışmada münazara tekniğinin öğrencilerin konuşma becerilerinin gelişimindeki önemi öğretmen görüşlerine göre incelenmiştir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Katılımcılar çeşitli illerden rastgele seçilen 10 Türkçe öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Türkçe Öğretmenlerinin görüşleri doğrultusunda yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracıyla görüşler alınarak veriler toplanmıştır. Veriler içerik analizi ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre; münazara tekniğinin konuşma becerilerinin gelişimine, iletişim becerisinin gelişimine, eleştirel düşünme becerisine, problem çözme becerisinin gelişimine ve yaratıcılık becerisinin gelişimine olumlu katkılar sağladığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. İletişim becerisi bağlamında, karşılıklı iletişim düşünüldüğünde, münazaranın öğrencilerin kendini bilinçli bir şekilde, topluluk karşısında ifade etmesi ile konuşma becerilerinin gelişimini desteklemesi de önemli görülmüştür. Münazara tekniği öğrencilerin topluluk önünde nasıl konuşacaklarını öğrenmeleri ve özellikle de ikna yeteneklerinin gelişmesi bakımından faydalı görülmektedir.

Abstract
The debating technique is one of the important techniques for persuasion and speaking. Debate is one of the most effective discussion techniques, and it is very important in terms of the development of democratic consciousness in students, the development of speaking skills, the ability of students to express what they think or the development of communication and persuasion skills. In this study, the importance of the debate technique in the development of students' speaking skills was examined according to the views of the teachers. Qualitative research method was used in the study. Participants consist of 10 Turkish teachers randomly selected from various provinces. In line with the opinions of Turkish teachers, the data were collected by taking their opinions with the semi-structured interview form tool. The data were analyzed by content analysis. According to the results obtained from the study; It was concluded that the debate technique contributed positively to the development of speaking skills, the development of communication skills, the development of critical thinking skills, the development of problem solving skills and the development of creativity skills. In the context of communication skills, when mutual communication is considered, it was also considered important that the debate supports the development of speaking skills by expressing the students consciously in front of the community. The debating technique is seen as beneficial for students to learn how to speak in front of a public and especially to improve their persuasion skills.
