Abstract
Turizm sektörünün sürdürebilir hal almasında turizmcilerin yabancı dil bilgisi oldukça önem arz etmektedir. Çalışmanın hedefi, Turizm Fakültesi öğrencilerinin yabancı dil öğrenimine karşı algı ve tutumların araştırılıp ortaya konulmasıdır. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda veri elde etmek için nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada amaçlı ve kartopu örnekleme tekniği kullanılarak, 12 katılımcıdan veri toplanmıştır. Bu veriler içerik analiz tekniği kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analiz neticesinde, Turizm Fakültesi öğrencilerinin eğitim kurumlarında verilen yabancı dil eğitimini yeterli bulmadığı, yabancı dil öğrenememenin sebepleri arasında, yanlış eğitim sistemi, azim eksikliği, öğrenci ilgisizliği gibi nedenlerin olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Yapılan araştırmanın sonunda yabancı dil öğrenme noktasında başarı elde etmek için; yabancı dil eğitim sisteminde sesli ve görsel materyal kullanımının arttırılması, yabancı dil ders sayısının arttırılması, yabancı dil hazırlık sınıflarının zorunlu hale getirilmesi, eğitim kurumlarında yurt dışı eğitim imkanlarının ve öğrenci değişim programlarının (Erasmus, Farabi vb.) arttırılması, yabancı dil derslerinin daha küçük gruplar halinde yapılması tarzında öneriler sunulmuştur.

Abstract
Foreign language knowledge of tourism professionals is very important for the sustainability of the tourism sector. The aim of the study is to investigate and reveal the perceptions and attitudes of Tourism Faculty students towards foreign language learning. Semi-structured interview technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used to obtain data in line with the purpose of the study. In the study, data were collected from 12 participants using the purposeful and snowball sampling technique. These data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that the students of the Faculty of Tourism did not find the foreign language education given in the educational institutions sufficient, and among the reasons for not being able to learn a foreign language, there were reasons such as the wrong education system, lack of perseverance, and student indifference. At the end of the research, in order to achieve success in learning a foreign language; Increasing the use of audio and visual materials in the foreign language education system, increasing the number of foreign language lessons, making foreign language preparatory classes compulsory, increasing the opportunities for foreign education and student exchange programs (Erasmus, Farabi etc.) in educational institutions, smaller groups of foreign language lessons Suggestions have been made in the way of doing it.
