Abstract
Bu çalışmanın konusunu, oldukça karmaşık bir işleyişe sahip olan haber metinleri çevirisi faaliyetlerinin üretimi ile bu süreçte görev üstlenen çevirmenlerin konumu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırdığımız konuları ele almadan önce, alanın kendi iç dinamikleri irdelenmiş, ortaya çıkarılan bulgular neticesinde alanda gerçekleştirilen çeviri faaliyetlerinin yapısı konusunda değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur. Söz konusu değerlendirmeler çerçevesinde çeviribilim alanındaki günümüz hâkim çeviri anlayışında uzman niteliğiyle merkezi bir konumda görev üstlenen çevirmenin, haber metinlerinin erek kültüre aktarılması sürecinde böyle bir görev üstlenmediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Zira tıpkı kolektif bir çalışmanın sonucunda ortaya çıkan haber metinlerinin üretiminde olduğu gibi, çeviri vasıtasıyla oluşturulan haber metinlerinde de yine kolektif bir yapı söz konusudur. Bu bağlamda çalışmamızda böyle bir kolektif üretim süreci çerçevesinde çevirmenin rolü belirlenmiş ve nihai olarak hedef kitlesine ulaştırılan çeviri vasıtasıyla üretilmiş haber metinlerinin “yeniden üretim süreci” bütün yönleriyle ele alınmıştır.

Abstract
The subject of this study is the production of news translation activities, which have a very complex operation, and the position of the translators who take charge of this process. Before discussing the subjects, we researched, the internal dynamics of the field were examined. As a result of the findings, evaluations were made about the structure of the translation activities carried out in the field. Within the framework of the evaluations mentioned above, it was concluded that the translator, who assumed a central position with his expert qualification in today's dominant understanding of translation in the field of translation studies, did not undertake such a task in the process of transferring news to the target culture. Because, just as in the production of news texts that emerged as a result of collective work, there is also a collective structure in news texts created through translation. In this context, in our article, the role of the translator was determined within the framework of such a collective production process, and the "reproduction process" of the news produced through translation, which was finally delivered to the target culture, was discussed in all its aspects.
