Abstract
Tarihin her döneminde ve bütün coğrafyalarda temelinde hayatta kalabilmek ve yaşamını idame ettirebilmek amacıyla görülen savaşlar sadece galip ya da mağlup ülkeyi değil aynı zamanda insanlık tarihini de siyasi, askeri, kültürel ve iktisadi yönlerden etkilemiştir. Ordu sistemine, savaş yöntemlerine ve mühimmata dayalı değişimlerin yaşanmasına yol açan savaşlar tüm dünyada ordu kelimesi ile birlikte kullanılmaya başlayan askeri lojistiğin önemini bir kat daha arttırmıştır ve gelişimine yol açmıştır. 19. yüzyıldan itibaren fikirleri ile Birinci Dünya Savaşı’na yön veren savaş teorisyenleri felsefi bir boyutta askeri lojistiğin savaştaki yeri nedir? sorusuna yanıt aramıştır. Sanayi Devrimi ve Fransız İhtilali’ni yaşayan Batı, bilim ve teknolojideki gelişmeleri kullanarak savaşta galibiyeti ve mağlubiyeti belirleyen ana unsuru devasa orduların her türlü ihtiyacını sistematik bir şekilde karşılayan askeri lojistiği 20. yyda bir bilim dalı ve disiplin haline getirmiştir. Bu makalede bilimsel bir bakış açısıyla incelenen ve kendi içinde farklı dallara ayrılan lojistiğin tarihsel gelişimi incelenmiştir

Abstract
Wars, which were seen in every period of history and in all geographies in order to survive and maintain their lives, have affected not only the victorious or defeated country, but also the history of humanity from political, military, cultural and economic aspects. Wars, which led to changes based on the army system, war methods and ammunition, increased the importance of military logistics, which started to be used with the word army all over the world, and led to its development. What is the place of military logistics in war in a philosophical dimension, the war theorists who have been shaping the First World War with their ideas since the 19th century? sought an answer to the question. The West, which experienced the Industrial Revolution and the French Revolution, made military logistics a science and discipline in the 20th century, using the developments in science and technology, which systematically meets all the needs of huge armies, the main factor determining victory and defeat in the war. In this article, the historical development of logistics, which is examined from a scientific point of view and divided into different branches, is examined.
