Abstract
Meslek, kişinin geçimini sağlayabilmesi için icra ettiği iştir. Kişi, hangi mesleğe sahip olmak istiyorsa o alanla ilgili meslekle alakalı eğitim alınmalıdır. Bireylerin meslek seçimlerinin hayatları boyunca aldıkları en önemli kararlardan biridir. İnsanların gelecek yaşantılarındaki mutluluklarının ve hayatlarını etkileyecek birçok faktörün seçilen meslekle ilişkili olması gerçeği vazgeçilmezdir. Ülkemizde bireyin meslek sahibi olabilmesi ortaöğretim düzeyinde meslek okulları ve yüksek öğretim seviyesinde üniversiteler vasıtasıyla olmaktadır. Sınıf öğretmeni olabilmek için gerekli şartlar yıllar içinde değişiklik göstermektedir. Geleceğe yön veren öğretmenlerimizin yıllarca öğrenci ve sonrasında öğretmen olarak rol aldıkları eğitim sistemine ilişkin metaforları hiç şüphesiz büyük önem arz etmektedir. Sınıf öğretmenleri Türk eğitim sisteminde anasınıfından başlayarak üniversiteye kadar öğrenci rolüyle okumuş ve nihayetinde öğretmenlik seviyesine ulaşmış kişilerdir. Sistemdeki her sınava girmiş, değişikliklerden birinci derecede etkilenmiş öğretmenler kendi öğrencilerinin en iyi şekilde öğrenim görüp başarılı olması için fedakarca çalışan toplumun hizmet elemanlarıdır. Toplumdaki tüm meslek kollarında görev alan vatandaşları yetiştiren sınıf öğretmenleridir. Öğrencilerine örnek olup onların hayatında önemli dokunuşlarda bulunurlar. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin yıllarca öğrenci rolüyle bulundukları sistemde rol değiştirip gelecek nesilleri yetiştirirken var olan düzene ilişkin görüş ve metaforlarını belirlemek mühim bir olgudur. Çalışmada kamu ve özel sektörde çalışan sınıf öğretmenlerinin Türk eğitim sistemine ilişkin metaforlarını incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada bir büyükşehirin üç farklı ilçesinde yer alan benzer sosyo ekonomik düzeye sahip altı farklı ilkokulda görev yapan toplam 84 tane sınıf öğretmeninden elde edilen veriler kullanılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında nitel araştırma yöntemi temel alınmıştır. Konu ile ilgili bilgiler görüşme tekniği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Öğretmenlere yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada katılımcılara “Eğitim sistemi ………………. gibidir, Çünkü……………” yazılı bir form sunulmuştur. Verilen cevaplar tematik olarak çözümlenmiştir. Her bir metafor kod olarak ele alınmış, kodlar da kategoriler şeklinde özelliklerine bağlı olarak birleştirilmiştir. Metaforun yönünü belirleyen “çünkü” bağlacından sonraki açıklamalara örnekler kısmında yer verilmiştir.

Abstract
Occupation is a job that a person performs in order to earn a living. Whichever profession the person wants to have, education related to the profession related to that field should be taken. It is one of the most important decisions that individuals make during their career choices. The fact that people's happiness in their future lives and many factors that will affect their lives are related to the chosen profession is indispensable. In our country, the individual can have a profession through vocational schools at secondary education level and universities at higher education level. Requirements for becoming a classroom teacher vary over the years. The metaphors of our teachers, who shape the future, about the education system, in which they act as students and later as teachers, are undoubtedly of great importance. Classroom teachers are people who have studied in the Turkish education system starting from kindergarten to university as a student and finally reached the level of teaching. Teachers who have taken every exam in the system and who have been affected by the changes in the first degree are the service members of the society who work devotedly to ensure that their students learn and succeed in the best way. They are classroom teachers who train citizens who work in all professions in the society. They set an example for their students and make important touches in their lives. It is an important phenomenon to determine the views and metaphors of the existing order while the classroom teachers change their roles in the system they are in for years as a student and raise future generations. In this study, it is aimed to examine the metaphors of classroom teachers working in the public and private sectors regarding the Turkish education system. Scanning model was used in this study. In the study, data obtained from a total of 84 primary school teachers working in six different primary schools with similar socio-economic levels in three different districts of a metropolitan city were used. Qualitative research method was used as a basis for data collection. Information on the subject was obtained by using the interview technique. A semi-structured interview form was applied to the teachers. In the study, the participants were told “Education system ………………. It is like, Because ……………” a written form is presented. The answers given were analyzed thematically. Each metaphor was considered as a code, and the codes were combined in the form of categories depending on their characteristics. The explanations after the conjunction "because", which determines the direction of the metaphor, are given in the examples section.
