Abstract
Araştırmanın amacı; lise öğrencilerinin öz yeterlik ve hedef yönelimi düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak ve hedef yönelimi düzeylerini bazı demografik değişkenlere (cinsiyet, okulun türü, sınıf seviyesi, anne-baba eğitim durumu) göre incelemektir. Araştırma İstanbul ilinde, 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında resmi ortaöğretim kurumlarında eğitim gören 904 öğrenciden toplanan veriler ile yapılmıştır. Veriler, Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Genel Öz Yeterlik Ölçeği ve Başarı (Amaç) Yönelimleri Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, öz yeterlik düzey gruplarına göre hedef yönelimi arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Ayrıca analizler sonucunda öğrencilerin okudukları okul türü, sınıf seviyesi ve anne- baba eğitim durumları ile hedef yönelimi arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Cinsiyet ile hedef yönelimi düzeyi arasında ise anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır.

Abstract
It is aimed in this research to demonstrate the relationship between self-efficacy and goal orientation of high school students and goal orientation level examine acording to varios demographic variables (gender, age, type of school, grade level, number of siblings, educational status of parents, family income level). The research was conducted with the data collected from 904 students studing in public secondary education institutions in the 2021-2022 academic year in Istanbul. Data were collected using Personal Information Form, General Self-Efficacy Scale and. Achievement (Purpose) Orientation Scale. Relational screening model was used in the research. As a result of the analysis, a significant difference was found between goal orientation according to self-efficacy level groups. In addition, as a result of the analysis, a significant difference was found between the school type, grade level, parental education status of the students and their goal orientation. There was no significant difference between gender and goal orientation level.
