Abstract
Bu çalışmada müzik eğitiminde seçen öğrencilerin başarı yönelim seviyeleri ile ilgili olarak bireysel motivasyon seviyeleri ve bireysel çalışmalarına ilişkin alışkanlıkları arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Müzik işlevi toplumsal, bireysel, kültürel ve kültürlerarası olarak farklı yönlerden ele alınmıştır. Müzik eğitiminde alanının önemine yer verilerek, Türkiye’de müzik eğitiminin tarihçesine ilişkin araştırma yapılmıştır. Ayrıca bu eğitimi sunan kuruluşlar ile ilgili açıklamalarda bulunulmuştur. Öğrencilerin müzik eğitimi almasının önemi, amacı ve sergilediği performansa ilişkin incelemeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucuna göre müzik eğitimi alan öğrencilerin duyuşsal, bilişsel ve psikomotor davranışlar konusunda kazanım elde ettiği, müzikal algısında gelişimin mümkün olduğu ve müzik eğitimine ilişkin tüm alanları bir bütün olarak görmesini sağladığı görülmüştür. Müzik eğitimi alan öğrencilerin bireysel motivasyon düzeyleri ile bireysel çalışma alışkanlıklarının müzik eğitimi başarısı üzerinde sağladığı etki tespit edilmiştir. Müzik eğitimi alan öğrencilerin elde edilen başarının yanında çalışma disiplini, alışkanlıkları, yöntemi ve motivasyonu bakımından çok sayıda unsurdan etkilendiği anlaşılmıştır. Bu kazanımların sağlanması ile birlikte öz yeterlik algıları ve motivasyon düzeylerinin eğitim sırasında anlamlı bir fark oluşturduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract
The relationship between the success orientation levels of the students who chose the field of n in music education, their individual motivation levels and their habits regarding their individual studies was examined. The music function has been discussed from different aspects as social, individual, cultural and intercultural. By giving place to the importance of music education, research on the history of music education in Turkey has been made. In addition, explanations were made about the organizations that offer this training. Investigations were carried out on the importance, purpose and performance of the students' singing education. According to the results of the study, it was seen that the students who received music education gained gains in affective, cognitive and psychomotor behaviors, it was possible to improve their musical perception and it enabled them to see all areas related to music education as a whole. It has been determined that the individual singing lesson motivation levels of the students who receive music education and the effect of individual singing study habits on the success of singing education. It has been understood that the students who receive music education are affected by many factors in terms of study discipline, habits, method and motivation as well as the success achieved. It was concluded that with the achievement of these gains, self-efficacy perceptions and motivation levels made a significant difference during the education.
