Abstract
Okul yöneticilerinin hayattan memnun olma durumları, okulu oluşturan tüm paydaşları ve okulun kaderini etkiler; çünkü bir okulun pozitif veya negatif yönde gelişiminde ve değişiminde en etkili kişi okul yöneticileridir. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenolojik araştırma modeline uygun olarak verilerin sağlandığı araştırmada, okul yöneticilerinin mutluluklarını etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, okul yöneticilerinin insana, topluma ve yönetim anlayışına bakış açılarını ortaya koyması yönünden önem arz etmekte ve gelecekteki çalışmalara ışık tutması beklenmektedir. Veriler 2022-2023 Eğitim-Öğretim Yılı’nda İstanbul ili Pendik ilçesinde ilk, orta ve lise kademelerinde görev yapan 15 okul yöneticisine, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formundaki soruların yöneltilmesiyle elde edilmiştir. Veriler, içerik analiziyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma, günümüz okul yöneticilerinin yönetime mekanik değil, insani yönden baktıklarını, manevi ve evrensel değerler ile psikolojik ögelerin okul yöneticilerinin mutluluk algılarında ön plana çıktığını ortaya koymaktadır.

Abstract
The life satisfaction of school administrators affects all the stakeholders that make up the school and the fate of the school because the most influential person in the positive or negative development and change of a school is school administrators. In the study, in which data were provided in accordance with the phenomenological research model, which is one of the qualitative research methods, it was aimed to determine the factors affecting the happiness of school administrators. The research is important in terms of revealing the perspectives of school administrators on people, society and management, and it is expected to shed light on future studies. The data were obtained by asking questions in the semi-structured interview form to 15 school administrators working in the primary, secondary and high school levels in the Pendik district of Istanbul in the 2022-2023 academic year. The data were analyzed by content analysis. The research reveals that today's school administrators look at management from a humane rather than a mechanical point of view, and that moral and universal values and psychological elements come to the fore in school administrators' perceptions of happiness.
