Abstract
Arap yazısına bağlı olarak doğan güzel yazma sanatı Hat Sanatı Türk-İslam sanatı ve medeniyeti hakkında birçok bilgi içermektedir. Bu eserlerdeki mesajların anlaşılması yerli halkın kendi tarihini anlaması açısından önemlidir. Bunun yanında turistlerin yoğun ilgi gösterdiği tarihi mekanlar da bu eserler ile donatılmıştır. Bu eserlerdeki yazılar ile gezilen mekanların önemi bilgileri daha iyi anlaşılacaktır. Son zamanlarda yapıların özellikle camilerin girişlerinde yapı içerisindeki hat eserlerinin anlamlarının yazılı olduğu levhaların yerleştirilmeye başlanması bu eserlerin anlaşılmaya olan ihtiyacını göstermektedir. Türkiye’de ve Dünya’daki milyonlarca eserin anlamlandırılması manuel bir işlemle çok zordur. Bu sebeple bu işlemin otomatikleştirilmesi adına bu çalışmada başlangıç adımı atılmıştır. Hat metinlerinin karmaşık görüntüden yazıya çevrilmesindeki aşamalardan olan yazıların stillerinin belirlenmesi ve yazıdaki harflerin tanınması problemleri Yapay Zeka algoritmaları ile incelenmiştir.

Abstract
The art of calligraphy, which was born depending on Arabic script, contains a lot of information about Turkish-Islamic art and civilisation. Understanding the messages in these works is important for the local people to understand their own history. In addition, historical places of great interest to tourists are also equipped with these works. With the writings in these artefacts, the importance of the places visited will be better understood. Recently, the placement of signs with the meanings of the calligraphy works in the building, especially at the entrances of the mosques, shows the need to understand these works. The interpretation of millions of works in Turkey and in the world is very difficult with a manual process. For this reason, in order to automate this process, in this study, the problems of determining the styles of the texts and recognising the letters in the text, which are the stages in the translation of calligraphy texts from complex images to text, are examined with Artificial Intelligence algorithms.
