Abstract
Cahiliye döneminde şiirin çok önemli bir yeri vardır. Zira o devrinde edebiyat, ezberlenmesi ve akılda tutulması daha kolay olduğu için daha çok şiirle aktarılmıştır. Cahiliye şiirleri göstermektedir ki belagat ve fesahat o dönemdeki şairlerde fıtrî bir özelliktir. Cahiliye Arap şairleri şiirlerinde remizleri yani işaret ve sembolleri kullanmışlardır. Bunlardan biri de Tarafe b. el-ʻAbd’dır. Tarafe’nin Muallakasında genel olarak: deve sembolü, kadın ve övünme sembolü, cömertlik ve israfa dair işaretler, tecrübelere dair işaretler, vb. gibi birçok işaret ve sembol vardır. Tarafe, Muallakasında sevdiği kadının diyarından ve onun devesinden ilgi çekici bir şekilde bahsetmiştir ki işitenlerin dikkatini çekmeyi başarmış ve asıl anlatmak istediği konulara yönlendirmiştir. Bu çalışmada muallaka hakkında özet bilgi verildikten sonra Tarafe’nin muallakasındaki işaret ve semboller, belagat açısından önemli olan bazı noktalar ve remizler üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışma, cahiliye dönemindeki hayatın neredeyse tüm yönlerini havi olan bu muallaka vasıtasıyla o dönemdeki hayat, edebiyat ve belagat ilimlerinin incelikleri hakkında bilgi vermeyi hedeflemektedir.

Abstract
Poetry has a very important place in the pre-Islamic period. Because in that period, literature was conveyed more through poetry because it was easier to memorize and remember. Pre-Islamic poems show that eloquence and fluency were natural characteristics of poets of that period. Pre-Islamic Arab poets used symbols, that is, signs and symbols, in their poems. One of them is Tarafa b. el-ʻAbd. In Tarafa’s Muallaqa, there are many signs and symbols such as the camel symbol, the woman and the bragging symbol, signs related to generosity and extravagance, signs related to experiences, etc. Tarafa talked about the land of the woman he loved and her camel in an interesting way in his Muallaqa, which managed to attract the attention of the listeners and directed them to the main subjects he wanted to tell. After giving brief information about the muallaqa in this study, the signs and symbols in Tarafa’s muallaqa, some points and symbols that are important in terms of eloquence are emphasized. The study aims to provide information about the subtleties of life, literature and rhetoric in that period through this muallaqa, which includes almost all aspects of life in the period of ignorance.
