Several scholars all over the world give different explications and perspectives about globalization, here some of them will be taken into consideration to explain the complexity that this phenomenon brings. Different is also the approaches used with globalization, sometimes positive, sometimes negative, and other times skeptical; but what is interesting to see is how all those perspectives are focus on the same topics. The main question about this process is about the entity of globalization, and if is it a new order, just a myth or a necessary process? The common aim of those authors is the understanding of this phenomenon and solving its definition by pointing out the important effects and changes brought with it. The aim of this work is to give a wide perspective of the spheres touched by globalization, which are a lot, and to focus on its economic, socio- technologic, cultural and political dimension, by analyzing the role of the nation-state, which is one of the most discussed themes inside globalization’s theory and especially the changing function or not that it brings in the new era. },author={Xheni SİMAKU},year={2020},journal={The Journal of Social Sciences}}
