Abstract
Bu çalışma yoğun göç hareketliliğinin ulunduğu Adana kentinin sahip olduğu nüfusun niteliklerini güncel haliyle tespit etmektir. Araştırma Adana kentinde yer alan merkez belediyeliği evren kabul edilmiş olup tesadüfi örneklem esasına göre 1004 örneklem üzerinde gerçekleşmiştir. Veriler yapılandırılmış anket yardımıyla toplanıp SPSS 20 programında analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir ve literatürdeki bazı kavramsal tartışmalar dayalı olarak yorumlanmıştır. Elde edilen verilere göre Adana kent nüfusu hem sosyo ekonomik gruplaşmalar hem de etno-dilsel gruplaşmalar bakımdan nitelik değiştirmektedir. Bu değişimlerin sosyal ve siyasal sonuçları söz konusudur.

Abstract
The aim of this study is currently detected the nature of the population of the Adana city has the heavy migration mobility. The research realized in May 2015 over 1004 samples by the random sampling basis in Adana city center that has four districts accepted as universe. The data collected with the aid of structured questionnaire, analyzed in SPSS 20 programs and were based on some conceptual discussions in the literature. According to the obtained data Adana city population are in characteristic changing for both socio-economic groupings and ethno-linguistic groupings. It has social and political consequences of the change.
