Abstract
1891-1971 yılları arasında yaşayan Halit Fahri, seksen yıllık ömrünü edebiyata adamıştır. Şiir, roman, tiyatro gibi farklı türlerde yazan ve dergicilik faaliyetlerinde bulunan sanatçı, edebiyat tarihlerinde genel olarak “Hece’nin Beş Şâiri”den biri olarak yer bulmuştur. Sanatçının edebî kişiliğinin olgunluk devresi ile de örtüşen bu adlandırma; dilde sadeleşme temayülü, şiirde hece ölçüsünü kullanma ve şiirin konusunu Anadolu’ya/Anadolu insanına yöneltme düşüncesiyle ortak hareket eder. Millî duyarlılığı yüksek bir sanatçı olan Halit Fahri, Servet-i Fünun etkisinden sıyrılarak yazdığı şiirlerde Balkan Savaşları, I. Dünya Harbi ve İstiklâl Harbi ile varoluş mücadelesi veren, yıkılan bir imparatorluktan yeni bir Cumhuriyet Devleti kurmayı başaran Türk milletinin kahramanlığına yer vermekle uluslaşma sürecine de katkı sağlar. Bu çalışmada, varlık ve dünya açısından şiire yaklaşılacak; Mehmetçiğin vatan savunmasında gösterdiği cesaret ve azimkârane duruş kahramanlık mitosu olarak adlandırılacak ve Halit Fahri’nin şiirlerinde görülen kahramanlık mitosu tespit edilmeye çalışılacaktır.

Abstract
Halit Fahri who lived between 1891-1971 devoted his eighty-year life to the literature. The artist who writed the different types such as poem, novel, theatre and had the magazine publishing activities took place as one of “Five Poets of Syllable” generally in the literature’s history. This designation which corresponds to the artist’s literal personality’s maturity period progresses with the views of becoming simple inclination in language, using the syllabic meter in poem and directing the poem’s subject to Anatolia/Anatolian people. Halit Fahri who is one of the artists with the great national sensitivity contributes to the nation formation process as including the valour of Turkish people that put up a fight with The Balkanic Wars, World War I and Independence War, succeeded a new Republic State from the demolished empire on his poems that he wrote them by getting out of Servet-i Fünun’s impact. In this study, the poem will be considered in terms of the existence and world; the courage and strong-minded attitude that Robin had in the motherland’s defence will be named as the hero myth, and the hero myth which is seen in Halit Fahri’s poems will be tried to be determined.
