Abstract
İstanbul Karacaahmet Mezarlığındaki asma- üzüm tasvirli mezar taşlarının tespit edilerek bunların hangi estetik değer yargılarıyla yapıldığı, kitabesi olan mezar taşlarından hangi yüzyıllara ait olduğunun tespiti hedeflenmiştir. Çalışmada Türk süsleme sanatında önemli bir bezeme unsuru olan asma üzüm motifi ele alınarak, Türk kültüründeki yeri değerlendirilmekte; söz konusu motifin form, köken ve ikonografik anlamı üzerinde durulmaktadır. Çalışmada İstanbul Karacaahmet Mezarlığındaki tarihi mezar taşlarının sayısının fazla olması nedeniyle bir grup mezar taşı içerisindeki asma-üzüm motifli mezar taşları değerlendirilmiştir. Karacaahmet Mezarlığı’ndaki mezar taşlarına baktığımızda çok sayıda bitkisel, geometrik ve nesnel motiflere ve mimari elemanlara yer verildiğine şahit oluyoruz. Bu motifler arasında en çok kullanılan ve dikkat çekici olanlardan birisi de asma-üzüm motifidir. Asma-üzüm motifi bazı örneklerde bir meyve kasesi içinde görülürken, bazı örneklerde bir selvi ile beraber görülmektedir. Bazı örneklerde farklı bitkisel motiflerle mezar taşının farklı bölümlerine işlenmiştir. Türk insanın geçmişini yansıtması ve bilgilendirmesi açısından Karacahmet mezar taşlarındaki asma-üzüm motifli mezar taşları önem arz etmektedir.

Abstract
It was aimed to determine which aesthetic judgments were preferred in making gravestones and the centuries of the gravestones with the epitaphs after determining the gravestones depicted in the grapevine in Karacaahmet Cemetery in Istanbul. In this study, the place of grapevine motif, which is an important decoration element in Turkish decorative art, in Turkish culture was evaluated and the form, origin and iconographic meaning of this motif was emphasized. In this study, due to the high number of historical gravestones in Karacaahmet Cemetery in Istanbul, only a group of gravestones with grapevine motifs were evaluated. When we look at the gravestones in Karacaahmet Cemetery, we see that there are many floral, geometric and object motifs and architectural elements. One of the most used and remarkable of these motifs is the grapevine motif. While the grapevine motif is seen in a fruit bowl in some examples, it is seen accompanied by a cypress in some. In some examples, it is seen that different floral motifs were embroidered on different parts of the gravestones. The gravestones with grapevine motifs in Karacaahmet cemetery are important in terms of reflecting the Turkish people's past and enlightening on it.
