TURİZM SEKTÖRÜNÜN YYEREL EKONOMİK KALKINMADAKİ ROLÜ: NİĞDE’DE YEREL HALKIN GÖRÜŞLERİ ÇERÇEVESİNDE BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract
Bu araştırma yerel ekonomik kalkınma turizmin rolüne ilişkin vatandaşların tutumlarını Niğde ili özelinde incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Amaç doğrultusunda hazırlanan anket formu; 2019 yılı Mart-Nisan ayları içerisinde tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiş, Niğde’de yaşayan 326 kişiye uygulanmıştır. Anketlerden elde edilen veriler bilgisayar ortamında SPSS 22.0 programı aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir.Araştırma sonucunda; araştırmaya katılan vatandaşların yerel ekonomik kalkınma turizmin rolüne ilişkin olumlu tutumlar içerisinde oldukları belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların tanımlayıcı özelliklerinden cinsiyetlerine ve turizmden gelir elde etme durumlarına göre farklılık olmadığı saptanmıştır. Araştırmada ele alınan diğer değişkenler olarak; aylık gelir düzeyi, eğitim durumu, yörenin kalkınmasında en önemli gelir kaynağı görüşü, yöreye daha fazla turist gelmesinin istenmesi, turizmin yörenin kalkınması için önemli görme durumlarına göre vatandaşların yerel ekonomik kalkınma turizmin rolüne ilişkin tutumlarında farklılıklar saptanmıştır. Eğitim ve gelir durumunun yükselmesiyle birlikte yerel ekonomik kalkınma turizmin rolüne ilişkin olumlu tutumların oluştuğu görüşü araştırmada ön plana çıkmıştır.

Abstract
This research was carried out to examine the attitudes of the citizens on the role of local economic development in the province of Nigde.The questionnaire prepared for the purpose was determined by random sampling method between March and April of the year 2019 and applied to 326 people living in Nigde. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analysed using the SPSS 22.0 program in computer environment.As a result of the research, it was determined that the participants were in positive attitudes regarding the role of local economic development tourism. It was determined that there was no difference in the descriptive characteristics of the participants in terms of their gender and income from tourism. As other variables discussed in the survey; monthly income level, education status, the most important source of income in the development of the region, the region to request more tourists, tourism is important for the development of the local economic development according to the situation of citizens ' attitudes about the role of tourism has been different. With the rise in education and income, the view that positive attitudes towards the role of tourism in local economic development has come to the fore in the study.
