Abstract
Maarif Vekâletinin 1920’de kuruluşundan 1929’da yayımlanan öğretim programına kadar olan süreçte uygulanan öğretim programları ve eğitim durumlarında kullanılan ders kitapları bu çalışmanın araştırma alanını oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma alanı Öğretim Programından Önce, 1340 Lise Müfredat Programı Esbabımucibe Layihası ve 1340 Tarihli Orta Mektep ve Lise Müfredat Programına Zeyl olarak isimlendirilen üç döneme ayrılarak incelenmiştir. Tekil tarama modeliyle elde edilen araştırma verileri, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel içerik analizi sürecine uygun incelenmiştir. Araştırma alanındaki öğretim programının içeriğiyle ilgili elde edilen veriler, tema ve içerik olarak iki boyutta analiz edilmiş ve betimlenmiştir. Öğretim programlarının eğitim durumlarında kullanılan otuz adet ders kitabının içeriğiyle ilgili veriler de kitap adı, yazarı ve basım yılı boyutlarıyla analiz edilmiş ve betimlenmiştir. Çalışmanın Türk dili ve edebiyatı eğitimi alanına ve bu alanın tarihi gelişimine katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Abstract
The educational programs applied during the period from the establishment of The Ministry of National Education in 1920 to the educational program published in 1929 and the textbooks used in educational situations constitute the research area of this study. The research area was examined by dividing it into three periods. The Period Before the Curriculum, Addendum to The Middle School and High School Curriculum Dated 1340, The Period of Addition to The 1927 Middle School and High School Curriculum Programs. The research data obtained with the single screening model were examined in accordance with the descriptive content analysis process from qualitative research methods. The data obtained about the content of the curriculum in the research field were analyzed in two dimensions as theme and content, these analyzed data were presented and interpreted in tables. Data on the content of thirty textbooks used in educational situations of educational programs were also analyzed with the book name, author and year of publication dimensions, presented and described in tables according to these dimensions. It is thought that the study will contribute to the field of Turkish language and literature education and the historical development of this field.
