The poetry collections contain the poems of the poets that are not mentioned in the biographical sources and the poems of the poets not mentioned in the works of the mentioned poets. There are different mode from the divan poetry forms and “aruz” patterns in this collections. These collections are among the important sources of Classical Turkish literature due to many features such as reflecting the literary taste of the period in which they were created. Poetry journals, like a treasure chest, contain priceless jewels. Recently on this treasure chest are made of numerous studies. Collection studies, which have increased significantly in the last decade, have gained a new dimension, especially with the Systematic Classification of Collections Project (MESTAP). This project, aims to make a enumeration of all the collections in the manuscript libraries within the framework of a method and present them to the benefit of researchers. This study has also been prepared within the scope of this purpose. Firstly, general information about collections will be given and then the poetry collection registered in number Mustafa Con A 647 in the Library of Faculty of Languages and History-Geography will be examined and classified according to MESTAP. There are a total of 138 poems in the collection where poems written in musammat form are predominant.
