Abstract

With the development of technology and elimination of space-time constraints and physical barriers, and the reduction in the prices of digital technological devices have caused changes in artistic and cultural terms. New commitments and possibilities related with digital technology, and even the computer which is at the center of new technologies, challenged traditional art, which resulted in new formal presentations and new forms of expression. In all periods of art, artists have developed new narratives, various expressions, technical applications and use of materials. In addition to the canvas painting in significant galleries, biennials and art exhibitions in Turkey and abroad; we also see hundreds of different approaches such as room arrangements, 3D objects, neon writings, video art projects and digital prints. Recently, several artists have included various animation techniques into their production media. Thus, in line with the multidisciplinary structure of contemporary art, various graphic techniques emerge through the combination of animation with other disciplines such as sculpture, video, cinema and photography. The principles on sequential motion, time, light, sound of animation, combined with the conceptual, questioning, and sometimes shocking attitude of contemporary art, have the power to impact people through different visual, emotional and intellectual interactions. In this research, the abstract narration of artworks in animation, which have an undeniable narrative area and high level of interest will be examined.
