Abstract

Accommodation corporations in tourism employ various kinds of tools as marketing activities. Advertisement is, perhaps, the most important tool amongst these. Advertisement offers great advantage as it has the capacity to reach masses whose target is touristic consumers. The rapid advancement of communication tools and its increasing effect on people and societies facilitate the making of advertisements. Therefore, accommodation business in advertising sector is highly substantial. The advertisement activities of accommodation corporation should follow a plan. An advertisement which is produced on its own may not reach the desirable effect or the targeted masses. Much advertisement work needs to be done in order to achieve the desired impact. In addition, advertising campaigns need to follow a well-planned schedule. These campaigns usually consist of 4 procedures: research, planning, assessment and application. Each procedure should be planned separately. So the progress of the process will be realized as planned, and the advertising work will reach the desired target. However, corporations need carefully-planned campaigns in order to reach the desired target in selling and marketing.
