Abstract

Adopting a new management system in the October 1917 revolution, Russia goes through changes in every area of the country. From the economy to agriculture, all technological innovations develop from the axis of the new ideological thinking system adopted. The government, who wants to spend the country with a total struggle from socialism to communism, wants to apply this desire in art. Therefore, the method of social realism, which has a canonical feature, is accepted as the main orientation of Soviet literature in the First Congress of Soviet Writers in 1934. Being aware of the power of literature to influence the masses, period managers also want to apply the defended ideological thought to art. Thus, social realism method is applied in every branch of art in Russia. The reflections of the social realism method in other countries' literature and arts also take place. The method determines its path by developing according to the internal dynamics of the literature and art of the country in which it exists. In this context, Kibar Feyzo, one of the most successful examples of the application of social realism method in our cinema, was shot in 1978. The movie, which made a great impact at the time of its publication, remains current as a work that everyone is familiar with young and old alike.
