Abstract

Career counseling, one of the important service to be provided in order to realize career plans for employees, can be done through a career center consisting of relevant experts and materials. In recent years, it is observed that these centers have been established in universities as well as in organizations. In these centers, career counseling is being provided to the students by providing all kinds of information and services related to their career plans. With the widespread use of the Internet, it is seen that such information and services are now shared through internet and social media sites. In this case, by creating a section on the corporate internet sites of universities or by opening accounts from social networking sites; career, education and employment opportunities, information and services can be offered from these places. In the research, it is aimed to determine that whether the state and foundation universities operating in Turkey have established a "career center section" under different titles in their corporate internet sites, and if such section is formed, which information or services are given place under this section by using content analysis method.
