The concept of communication within the history of art, which differs from the past to the present, has been a messagegiving phenomenon throughout human history. The works produced in the fields of Fine Arts such as painting, sculpture, graphics, literature, music, cinema, dance were intended to give a message to humanity. The production of works based on universalized symbols stirs the imagination of the artist as well as his audience. Symbolic works produced as a whole of subconscious, dreams, spirit world, past and future, destiny, preferences, colors and emotions communicate with the viewer. In this context, the work of Semiha Berksoy, the first Turkish opera singer who has shed light on culture and art in the history of the Republic, called “Woman of the firsts”, was examined in this study.
