Abstract

It is known that a qualified education in pre-school period is important in shaping the life of the child. This is also the case with educational programs consisting of daily and yearly plans, which are prepared taking into account the needs of children. In this period, which is the beginning of the process of social life for the first time in the safe family environment they have been in since their birth; the physical and social opportunities provided to children and the training programs that support all areas of development have critical prespec- tives to maximize their potential in their future lives. The purpose of this study is to exaime the level of support fo children’s transition to school through educational programs prepared by theachers. In the research using descriptive model from quatştatşve resarch methods. The monthly gains and indices of the 8th independent kindergarten located in Düzce province center and the kindergaterns of the two primary school were examined in the fall semester of 2016-2017 and the level of taking place in each development area was examined.The data of the study were calculated wihtf frequency and percewntage distributions. As a result of the research, preschool teachers were more involved in cognitive, language, and motor skills achievement, there was no evidence that certain gains were addressed in the area of social emotional development and self-care skills.The results Show that the development of areas of cognitive, language and motor skills are more supported by teachers, despite the fact that skills for social emotional development and self-care play an important role in the transitional process
