The most important duty of art teaching is to have students get the ability of expressing themselves and reveal their creativeness by improving their imagination in every phase. İt is also an important factor aiming to reintegrate students into the society and making them individuals producing and thinking a esthetically. İn the instutions providing fine arts training, esthetic and art training lessons have diffult theoric in puts fort he beginner students. Esthetic course, taking part in the curriculum of Fine Arts High School bounded to the Ministry of Education, has a big role in art teaching. Practise of methods, technique and viewpoints of students for esthetic teaching is the subject of this research applied by an art teacher in Fine Arts High School in Sivas. İn this qualitative research, video records of the lesson, teacher and student interview forms have been gathered and analyzed as data. This research has been carried out in accordance with educational criticism.
