This research aims to examine the state of loneliness that occurs in individuals with the aging process and its effect on family relationships. The research is important in terms of evaluating the themes of loneliness, living with family members, relationships with spouses, children, daughter in law and son in law, and grandchildren, and the effects of loneliness and loneliness process on family relations. The research was conducted in Eskişehir province in December 2019 with the qualitative research method. Using the purposeful sampling technique to identify the participants, interviews were conducted face-to-face with a total of 14 participants, 7 women and 7 men. As a result of the research, it was determined that the elderly felt lonely, wanted to live in their own homes with their spouse and children, established positive relationships with their spouses, and shared their feelings such as sadness and joy with their spouses comfortably. In addition, it has been determined that they frequently supplies with their children and grandchildren in order not to be alone and to supplies their social support needs.
