Public houses established for the purpose of adopting the public to the revolutions of Atatürk, educating the people and raising the life standard of the people, were first opened in 14 different places on 19 February 1932. (Ankara, Eminönü, Eskişehir, Afyon, Aydın, Bolu, Bursa, Çanakkale, İzmir, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Konya, Malatya ve Samsun).In these public houses, public and lettered people have completed each other and the mentality of public houses arises from this idea. Bilecik Public House couldn’t be opened on 19 February 1932, but it was opened on 24 June 1932 with all departments except the arts, museum and exhibition departments. The members of Bilecik Public House are governors, doctors, judges and the other civil servants and citizens whon ever avoid making a sacrifice for their public. Bilecik Public House cared about media organs for adopting there volutions and educating the public. For this purpose periodicals, books, leaflets and representations were put forth.
