SPATS OF MINSTREL ACCORDING TO THE THEORY OF SUPERIORITY


The spats in minstrelsy tradition are quite distinct and important place. Spat, which is one of the most interesting sections in minstrelsy chapter; minstrel of knowledge, experience and demonstrate their skills and make squabbling within the tradition in order to out maneuver the other in minstrel. Entertaining the audience in spats goal is weight. Spats are usually performed between two or more minstrel; but a minstrel of abstract or concrete concepts can appear in the form of mutual talk. Spats, especially in a humorous style to entertain listeners preferred. The superiority theory is one of today's accepted humor theory studying any element of humor, his mistake of hearing or people who saw the events hero would be sure to himself, he feels superior is like from the inside of the situation and laugh. Humor in the incident is caused by other people's weaknesses and incidents laughing person's own intelligence, it is associated with superior vision morally and physically. This work will be evaluated in the context of the theory of superiority minstrels quarrel; the items reflect the superiority theory will be studied to determine the spats.
