THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN JOB SATISFACTION AND ORGANIZATIONAL CYNICISM: A RESEARCH ON THE EMPLOYEES OF THE COURIER COMPANY


The aim of the study is to reveal the relationship between job satisfaction dimensions (intrinsic satisfaction, extrinsic satisfaction) and organizational cynicism dimensions (cognitive cynicism, emotional cynicism, behavioral cynicism). The universe is the empoyees of the one of Turkey's leading courier company’s general directorate which is operating in Istanbul. As a result of the research; It was found that there is a negative correlation between intrinsic satisfaction dimension of job satisfaction and cognitive cynicism dimension, emotional cynicism dimension and behavioral cynicism dimension of organizational cynicism. It was also found that there is a negative correlation between the extrinsic satisfaction dimension of job satisfaction and cognitive cynicism dimension, emotional cynicism dimension and behavioral cynicism dimension of organizational cynicism.
