Abstract

Organizational commitment is an important concept that can be handled in a multidimensional way and investigated with different variables. However, it has revealed that the factors in recruitment processes have an effect on organizational commitment as well as other factors and it has highlighted the importance of the studies to be carried out especially by using internal resources of organizations. In this respect, organizations aim to meet the expectations of the personnel by using internal resources in the recruitment process and to keep them in their organizations. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of internal resources used in recruitment process on organizational commitment of employees. In the research, it is aimed to measure the perceptions of employees in the participation bank and their commitment to their organizations by using the “Internal Career Opportunities Perception Scale” and “Meyer and Allen Organizational Commitment Scale ”. 291 white collar employees in the participation bank were filled in the questionnaire. The data collected by the questionnaire were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it is seen that there is a low impact on the overall organizational commitment, emotional, attendance and normative commitment of the participation bank personnel benefiting from in-house career opportunities.
