Abstract

Objective: In this study, it was aimed to adapt art therapy and creativity techniques to the university curriculum as a teaching method and to investigate the effect of this method on students' problem solving skills. Method: In this study, Personal Information Form, Volunteer Participation Form, Individual Differences Psychology Course Evaluation Form and Problem Solving Inventory were applied to 43 students (36 women, 4 men) aged between 20 and 26 (21.97 ± 1.18). Three courses using the drama and collage techniques of the 15-week program are discussed in this study. Results: It has been determined that art therapy and creativity techniques increase learning positively and improve students' problem solving skills in this study.
