An inevitable fact that individuals' career management and career planning have changed with technological changes. Accordingly, many different factors that affect the career planning process emerge with the changes. Organizations need qualified employees who can provide competitive advantage. The desire of the organization to have a superior position compared to the competitive conditions has not only limited the knowledge, skills and abilities of individuals, but also has brought the personality types of the employees to the fore. On the other hand, the personality traits of qualified employees are highlighted and they appear as individuals who know their personal characteristics well and determine what job is most suitable for them and make career planning accordingly. The main purpose of the study is to explain the characteristics of qualified employees within the framework of A type and B type personality traits, and to evaluate the type of personality which is more suitable for this process in career planning and management processes. Considering the results of the study, according to the information obtained from various sources and the characteristics of personality types, personality types were revealed and evaluated in the career management process.
